XRP Under $3 Seen as a “Bargain”
BarriC’s latest comments, posted in a viral Twitter thread, suggest that XRP’s current market value severely underrepresents its long-term potential. “Anything under $3 is a bargain,” he stated, noting that XRP has already climbed 350% over the past year, outperforming many major altcoins.
Despite that performance, he maintains the view that the real move has yet to come. “XRP will become very expensive to buy in the next few months and the next few years,” he warned, calling current prices a rare window of opportunity.
Price Predictions: From $10 to $1,000?
In the short to mid term, BarriC predicts XRP will rise to $10, then $20, as part of the next major altcoin season. These targets would represent a 7x return for those buying under $3. However, he does acknowledge the likelihood of a 50% correction after hitting $20, with a pullback potentially sending the price back into the $5–$10 range—still well above current levels.
“We will see prices like $100, $500, $1,000 per XRP. The fact that we can still accumulate XRP at approx $2 means that banks aren’t utilising XRP… yet.”
Such a valuation would imply a market capitalization of approximately $58 trillion, placing XRP on par with major components of the global monetary system—a highly ambitious outlook that would require near-universal institutional adoption.
Mixed Technical Signals: What Comes Next?
While long-term projections spark optimism, near-term technical indicators present a more cautious picture. Forecasts show a possible drop to around $2.21 by June 22, 2025, equating to a 9.20% dip from current levels.
Sentiment indicators remain mixed. The crypto sentiment gauge currently reads Bullish, while the Fear & Greed Index is pegged at 0, signaling extreme caution among traders.
Over the last 30 days, XRP has logged 13 green days out of 30, with average daily price swings of 5.10%, indicating a choppy market and ongoing investor indecision.
Institutional Integration Could Be the Catalyst
BarriC and others argue that bank adoption of XRP for cross-border payments remains the critical turning point. If Ripple’s blockchain-based payment solutions begin to gain traction in traditional finance, many expect a sharp upward repricing of XRP.
For now, the market remains in a wait-and-see mode. But if BarriC’s bullish forecast proves accurate, XRP’s current price zone may soon be remembered as one of the most attractive entry points in crypto history.
